Secrets of a Prayer Warrior
Secrets of a Prayer Warrior
The content of this course is taken from Derek Prince’s book “The Secrets of a Prayer Warrior”. Derek Prince was a prayer warrior and as we apply the truths in this course, I am trusting that we will all become a prayer warrior that God has called us be. Prayer was natural and frequent for Derek and his wife. Throughout this course Derek is teaching us how to get what we prayed for but not in a selfish way. We will be taught by Derek how to align ourselves with the Lord in attitude and practice in such a way that we will pray effectively. The goal of this course, of which I am excited for, is that we will learn to pray for what God ultimately wants.

BASIC (Sunday)
BASIC
BASIC is a seven-part short film series inviting you to reclaim the simple, full, and beautiful journey that your lives are intended to be. This opportunity is a 7-week commitment providing you the opportunity to watch videos and participate in engaging conversation that takes you from an intellectual knowing to a deeper application which can change your life. There is no homework, and everything is done in the classroom together with other participants.
This event will begin February 2nd during 2nd service (11am-12:30pm) in the classrooms upstairs by the Fellowship Hall. There is no registration, and all are welcome to join. Simply show up. If you are not sure where to go, ask an usher who will be happy to direct you.
The content in the first 3 sessions will lead you to think about who God is. We all have ideas about God, but those ideas are often formed more by our own experiences with the Christian life then by the way God describes Himself.
The content in the last 4 sessions will lead you to think about what we do as a church and why we do those basic things. We all have ideas about what church should be and do, but those ideas are often formed more by our own experiences with the church than by what God says in the Bible about the church.
Our prayer is that you will see the Trinity and these four basic practices in a new light and that your life is changed as a result.
Starting February 2nd (Sundays) - Upstairs by Fellowship Hall

Knowing Rediscovered
Knowing Rediscovered
Many of us conform to the patterns of the world around us. Even with the best intentions, we often mimic what we believe to be good rather than pursuing a living knowledge and connected understanding that teaches us how to live our day-to-day lives. This course will help you discover your true God-given identity, which is key in operating with the same power that Jesus had. Each week, we introduce crucial steps that open doors to help discover or rediscover pieces of your foundational knowledge that you may have missed. This study helps you see beneath Jesus’ decisions as well as the direction that led him to powerfully connect with and transform so many people. This is how he changed the world, and how you can too!
Starting March 5th (Wednesdays) - TBD

The Lord and His Prayer
The Lord and His Prayer (A Pathway to Discipleship)
Most of us have prayed the Lord’s Prayer–and completed it in less than 25 seconds. Jesus’ commanded us to “pray this way.” Yet it feels like a duty rather than a dynamic engagement.
The Lord’s Prayer was intended to be memorized–but it was meant for far, far more. Each word of the Prayer is linked to all of Jesus’ teaching. It is actually a framework to teach us to “pray God’s thoughts after Him.” This course will span 8 weeks, and require Dr. Chotka’s book, “Living Out the Lord’s Prayer: Line by Line.” Each attendee will use the resource daily in their prayer life, and take part in a small group to share what they have learned.
This prayer is the key to all of Jesus’ teaching.

Healing Prayer
Healing Prayer
What if you never expected miraculous healing was possible but were surprised when it actually happened, or by the way in which it happened? And what if you found out that, all along, the Bible had principles for healing prayer that we could apply to our lives for restoring body, mind, and spirit?
Join Pastor David Chotka in his unexpected journey of discovery that healing prayer is God’s idea, not a human concept, and that He invites us to intercede for healing in our own lives and on behalf of others. Prayer, including healing prayer, is one of the greatest activities in which Christians can participate with God to fulfill His purposes. God wants us to pray as an integral part of our relationship with Him and as a vital aspect of our life of faith.
This intriguing course covers such topics as:
- Eight ways healing prayer is misunderstood
- Healing prayer: what does the Bible say?
- Medicine, miracle, and mystery: how they interrelate
- Why and how we pray for healing
- The role of compassion in healing
- Christ’s forgiving and healing presence within us
- How to prepare yourself for prayer
- Healing Prayer includes accounts of God’s power to heal today, and it provides guidance for how to organize a prayer team in your small group, church, or denomination.
Above all, this course shows that it is God who initiates healing prayer. Our part is to respond to His instructions and leading as we pray. All He asks is our openness to Him. take this course and you, too, may be surprised by the power of Healing Prayer.

Energy
Energy
ENERGY is more than enthusiasm or motivation—it is the divine vitality of God actively at work in your life. Scripture tells us that we are empowered not by our own effort, but by His strength:
“Therefore I also labor, striving according to His working (energy) which works (energizes) in me mightily (dynamis).”
—1 Corinthians 1:29
Do you long to live with sustained spiritual passion, clarity, and resilience—rather than burnout, distraction, or striving? This teaching invites you to discover a life energized by abiding in Christ, where God’s presence fuels both your inner life and outward obedience.
What This Class Is About
ENERGY explores how believers can live consistently aware of God’s activity and respond to His leading. We were created with the capacity to hear God, to recognize His movement, and to respond in faith. When we learn to abide—rather than rush or strive—we find ourselves living from a deeper source of strength.
This is not a formula or technique, but an invitation into trust:
• God is for you
• Jesus is with you
• The Holy Spirit is in you
As you grow in confidence that God is speaking and leading, you begin to walk in the vitality, passion, and purpose that mark a transformed life.
A Biblical Pattern for Transformation
Throughout Scripture, we see a consistent pattern in how God works with His people—from Gideon to the disciples, and now with us. God:
1. Gets our Attention
2. Builds Awareness of what He is doing
3. Announces His words of life and truth
4. Calls us to Action through faith-filled obedience
This metanarrative continues with you. God is still speaking words of love, identity, and destiny over His people—and inviting them to respond.
Course Structure
This video series is organized into four key sections:
• Attention – Learning to slow down and notice God’s presence
• Awareness – Recognizing how God is working in and around you
• Annunciations – Hearing and discerning God’s life-giving communications
• Action – Responding with faith, confidence, and obedience
Each session is accompanied by thought-provoking discussion questions designed to deepen understanding, encourage reflection, and help you actively step into your transformation journey.
Who This Class Is For
ENERGY is for anyone who desires a more vibrant, Spirit-led Christian life—whether you feel weary and need renewal, or simply hunger for greater intimacy and responsiveness to God.
Come discover what it means to live energized by God’s Spirit, grounded in your Kingdom identity, and empowered for the life He has called you to live.

Undercover
Undercover
To walk in true spiritual authority, a believer must be submitted to God’s sovereign authority. In this class, you will learn how submission to God’s divine order grants the Kingdom’s provision and protection. John uses his personal mistakes to illustrate riveting truths about repentance and forgiveness. As he focuses on the true authority of God, he is careful to explain by example the important difference between “submission” and “obedience.” The same struggle with divine authority is also represented through the lives of John the Baptist, the Apostle Paul, and other biblical figures.

Jesus' Power Over The Powers
Jesus' Power Over The Powers
Every Christian quickly discovers that they need to learn to enter into the worldview of our Lord and the first disciples. That world view was/is/will be supernatural. Jesus first experience in ministry was to be baptized. His second was to watch the heavens split open, as the Holy Spirit empowered Him for ministry. Jesus third experience in ministry was to spend 40 days and nights staring down the Prince of the Power of the Air, the being who was committed to the destruction of everything Jesus believed. And Jesus won against that dark power–and immediately started casting out demons and healing the sick. This course will teach us how to enter into Jesus’ worldview and how to stand against the powers of darkness. We will discover how to live in Jesus’ victory over the powers.
