Our Lead Pastors
Pastors RJ and Mary Ciaramitaro are the Lead Pastors of Windsor Christian Fellowship Church based in Windsor, ON since 2018. After serving on staff for years they were chosen to become lead pastors. Pastors RJ and Mary have a heart for equipping our next generations to be leaders. They believe everything in life happens through relationship and aspire to reach our city and beyond with the hope of Jesus. They have been married since 2000 and have 4 beautiful daughters.
History
Our History
Windsor Christian Fellowship is a living testimony of the power of prayer. A small Bible study group in the early 1970s began to pray that God would help them establish a church that would preach the entire Word of God. They wanted a place where the unsaved, hurt and afflicted could receive ministry and healing. They also believed that this new church needed to effectively impact every generation with exciting teaching and worship. Engaging Children’s and Youth programs with age appropriate curriculum was a major focus of WCF.
In late 1981, after much planning, the group decided on the name Windsor Christian Fellowship and began to lay the foundation for incorporation. In 1982, Pastor Richard Ciaramitaro, a recent graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center, was invited to preach at Nobles Baptist Church, the basement meeting place of the fledgling group of 28 members. Within a few days, Pastor Rick accepted the invitation to be pastor of WCF. As the congregation grew, the church moved to Optimist Community Centre and, then Teutonia Club until 1989 when it moved to its new building just off Walker Road.
WCF has always played an active role in meeting the needs of the community through benevolent outreach. Windsor Lifeline Outreach, a Community Development Corporation that provides food and clothing to families, was established in 2002 on the church property. Another CDC, Windsor Life Centre was founded and completed in 2012. This residential home provides a shelter and support for women seeking freedom from addictions.
In 2018, after 37 years, Pastors Richard and Cathy Ciaramitaro stepped down as head pastors and passed the baton on to Pastors RJ and Mary Ciaramitaro; bringing in a new vision and direction for the church.

Our Tenets Of Faith
Tenets of Faith
The Tenets of Faith and Doctrine are the fundamental truths or beliefs upon which WCF is founded and the formal expression or standard that governs the activities of the church. All events that are planned at WCF facilities must adhere to principles of biblical doctrine established in the Tenets of Faith and Institutions.
We believe the Bible is truth, the inspired, infallible Word of God, the revealed will of God to man on all matters of conduct and doctrine.

We believe the Trinity is comprised of Father, Son (Jesus) and the Holy Spirit; all are co- eternal and co-equal.

We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ: God manifest in the flesh, the eternal Son of God, the second member of the Godhead (Trinity) who always existed with the Father and the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Virgin Birth) God taking on Himself human flesh.

We Believe in the Salvation of Man
Man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross Jesus Christ was crucified and slain to bring salvation, healing, and hope to mankind by satisfying God’s wrath against us because of sin. Salvation is obtained by repentance towards God (for sin) and faith in the sacrifice Christ made for us on the cross. Salvation is not by human works (deeds); our works are evidence of our faith in God, and determine our future reward. Being justified by grace through faith we are cleansed of sin and become children (heirs) of God.

The evidence of Salvation is twofold:

- The inward evidence is a direct witness (testimony) of the Holy Spirit to the believer.
- The outward evidence to all men is a life of holiness and love.
We believe that the infilling/baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues is for all believers. This promise is from the Father, according to the command of Jesus and results in a manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service. This is an experience distinct from and subsequent to the New Birth.

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ. Every believer has an essential role in the local church.

We believe that Jesus, our Blessed Hope is coming again to gather all His saints to Heaven on the Day of the Lord.

We believe in the final judgment. Individuals, who have not accepted the redemptive work of Jesus and who willfully disobey Him, will suffer eternal separation from God, but believers will enter into the eternal Kingdom of our Lord.

The celebration of the Lord’s Supper (by eating of the bread and drinking of the cup – Communion) is a commandment to Christians to remember Jesus Christ and the sacrifice He made for us on the cross. The bread represents his body that was broken and the cup represents his blood that was shed for our redemption.

As a matter of belief, doctrine and religious practice, Windsor Christian Fellowship reserves the term “marriage” for the covenant relationship between one man (husband)and one woman (wife) to the exclusion of all others.
This covenant relationship represents the union between Christ and His Body (the church). As a Christian organization, WCF has always upheld Christian doctrines and values. Since its inception, WCF has understood that God instituted monogamous marriage between a male and female as the foundation of the basic reproductive family structure. This doctrine is seenand understood in Genesis 2: 23-24
“And Adam said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called
Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore, shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”
Jesus Christ, the Son of God confirms this scripture in Matthew 19:4-6 and Mark 10:6-8
“But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; and they two shall be one flesh: so, then they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not people put asunder.” Mark 10:5-9
Jesus was admonishing the church not to disregard or put aside what God our Father intended marriage to be. It has always been our understanding that from the beginning God has only joined a man and a woman together in the bonds of marriage. As a Christian Church we will not put asunder, alter or ignore His command in regards to this issue. Hebrews 13:4
We believe the Bible is very clear in that it teaches a lifestyle of sexual purity. Chastity before marriage will protect us from emotional entanglements that may negatively affect future relationships and marriage. Further, fidelity within marriage reminds us that the marriage relationship is a spiritual covenant that is built on commitment, trust, and respect between husband and wife.
“You should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; that each of you should learn to control his own body in a way that is holy and honorable, not in passionate lust like
the heathen, who do not know God…For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.”
