SCATTERED CHURCH
Gathered to Be Equipped. Scattered to Be the Church.
What if church was never meant to end when we leave the building?
For many Christians, “church” can gradually become something we attend on Sunday rather than something we live throughout the week. We gather to worship, learn, grow, and be equipped—but Jesus also sends us back into our homes, workplaces, neighbourhoods, schools, friendships, and communities as His people.
That is the heart of Scattered Church.
This six-week interactive study will help you discover that your everyday life is not separate from your spiritual life. The places where you already spend your time may be some of the very places where God is inviting you to live as His representative.
What Can You Expect?
By the end of Scattered Church, you will be challenged and equipped to:
- See the Church as both gathered and scattered—a family that comes together to be strengthened and then goes out to live on mission.
- Recognize that ministry is not reserved for pastors or ministry leaders; every believer has a meaningful part to play in the Body of Christ.
- Begin seeing your workplace, neighbourhood, family, school, and community as part of your everyday mission field.
- Discover simple, practical, and reproducible ways to love, serve, share Jesus, and help others grow as disciples.
- Examine assumptions about what “church” must look like while remainingfirmly rooted in Scripture and dependent upon Jesus.
- Understand the progression of Identity → Maturity → Mission—knowing who you are in Christ, growing as part of His family, and participatingin what He is doing around you.
- Identifyspecific people God has already placed in your life and take practical steps toward intentional discipleship.
- Leave with a personal commitment to GO—BE—THE CHURCHwherever God has placed you.
This is not simply a course about understanding a different model of church.
It is an invitation to begin living differently during the rest of your week.
Each session includes biblical discovery, group conversation, personal reflection, practical application, and a weekly GO—BE—THE CHURCH challenge. You will have an opportunity to try what you are learning, return the following week, share what happened, learn from others, and continue growing.
You don’t need a platform, a ministry title, or a special event to participate in God’s mission.
God may have already placed you in your mission field.
